Our theme today was repetition. I thought of palms which are so present it seemed too easy. It was a gray day in Long Beach and the marina seemed like a good challenge. It was. I froze.

Ann's choice of theme for today was repetition. Much about a train suggests

a comfortable repetition: the tracks/ties; the clickity-clack as it rolls along;

the hiss and screech of the brakes, and of course the paired soundings of

its forlorn whistle.

If you look closely you will see the lights of the approaching train

in the distance.
